Day 1: 05 November 2026 - Welcome to Delhi
Welcome to India! On arrival at Indira Gandhi International Airport, you are greeted with a traditional floral garland and transferred to your hotel. The evening is yours to unwind or explore. This evening, join your female Tour Director and fellow women travellers for a delightful welcome dinner at a local restaurant, where you'll savour your first taste of authentic Indian cuisine and begin forging connections over rich flavours and shared experiences.

Day 2: 06 November 2026 - Delhi Sightseeing
This morning, head out on an exciting sightseeing tour of Old Delhi and New Delhi with your Travel Director. Drive past the Red Fort, the main residence of the Mughal dynasty until 1856. Lose yourself in Old Delhi on a rickshaw ride exploring the colourful chaos of the Chandni Chowk shopping bazaar.
Next up, visit Jama Masjid, India's largest mosque. Drive past the President Palace, India Gate and Parliament House before ending your tour with a tour of Humayun’s Tomb one of the earliest examples of Mughal architecture in India. The Indian capital is a feast of flavours, a melting pot of influences from across the subcontinent and beyond. Devour culinary stories and mouthwatering street food on this enlightening guided tour with a local woman chef.

Day 3: 07 November 2026 - Delhi Sightseeing
Start your day by visiting The Akshardham temple. Considered a modern wonder of the world, the temple is spread over 100 acres and built from sandstone and marble. it contains 234 carved pillars, floral exquisitely carved pavilions, nine Ornate domes, a spectacular plinth of stone elephants, and 20,000 statues.
This evening, Explore Dilli Haat – A Cultural & Shopping Delight for Women Travelers. Dilli Haat , a vibrant open-air market brings together the best of India’s arts, crafts, and regional cuisines in one colourful space. Explore stalls run by local artisans and women entrepreneurs offering textiles, jewellery, bags, and home décor. Savour regional cuisine at food stalls and soak in the cultural vibe with occasional live music and folk performances.

Day 4: 08 November 2026 - Onto Jaipur - The Pink City
Today, journey to the vibrant city of Jaipur, affectionately known as the Pink City - a name it earned in 1876 when its buildings were painted a rosy hue to welcome Queen Victoria’s visit. The city’s warm, terracotta tones still radiate royal charm and hospitality.
Later this afternoon, immerse yourself in local traditions with a Henna (Mehndi) lesson. Try your hand—quite literally—at this intricate form of body art, where natural dye is used to create beautiful, detailed patterns, often seen during celebrations and weddings.
Next, discover the elegance of the saree, South Asia’s timeless garment. Learn how to drape this six-yard symbol of grace and femininity with the help of local experts and feel the cultural richness it embodies.
As evening descends, witness Jaipur’s Diwali—a festival of lights like no other. Celebrate this cherished Hindu festival through the eyes of a local family. You’ll be welcomed into their home with a traditional garland, aarti, tikka and refreshing welcome drinks. Join your hosts in a heartfelt Lakshmi Puja, a prayer ceremony dedicated to the goddess of wealth and prosperity.
Later, marvel at a dazzling fireworks display, create colourful rangoli patterns, and enjoy a warm, festive vegetarian Diwali dinner shared with your host family—a truly unforgettable cultural experience.

Day 5: 09 November 2026 - Jaipur Sightseeing
This morning after breakfast, head out for an excursion to Amber Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Ascend the majestic fort by jeep and explore its stunning interiors—ornate with mirror work, frescoes, and royal artistry. En route, stop for a photo opportunity at the iconic Hawa Mahal, or "Palace of Winds."
Later, continue to the City Palace, the former royal residence, part of which is now a museum while a section remains occupied by Jaipur’s royal family. After some free time for lunch, visit to a local studio for an authentic block printing experience guided by master artisans. Jaipur is one of India’s most celebrated hubs for this traditional textile craft, especially known for its Bagru and Sanganeri styles. Under the guidance of skilled experts—many from families who have been practicing this art for generations—you'll have the chance to try your hand at block printing, creating your own piece using age-old techniques and natural dyes.
Next, hop aboard a Pink City Rickshaw for a delightful ride through Jaipur’s vibrant streets. Your designated woman driver will meet you at your hotel and guide you on a scenic journey past some of the city’s iconic landmarks—including Tripolia Bazaar, the majestic Hawa Mahal, Badi Chaupar, Ajmeri Gate, and Chodha Rasta—before concluding at the grand Albert Hall Museum.
Note: Pink City Rickshaw is a non-profit organization and aims to provide employment opportunities to 200 women from low-income households in Jaipur.

Day 6: 10 November 2026 - Jaipur to Agra
In the morning, depart for Agra, home to the spectacular phenomenon that is the Taj Mahal. Along the way, stop for lunch at the beautiful Laxmi Niwas Palace in Bharatpur. When you arrive in Agra, the evening is yours at leisure. Make the most of the amenities at your hotel, unwinding before tomorrow’s adventure. Tonight, you may opt to dine at one of the many restaurants at your hotel, offering a range of options from local Indian flavours to international cuisines.

Day 7: 11 November 2026 - Agra Sightseeing
Before sunrise, travel to the Taj Mahal to see the world phenomenon in its best light. A symbol of love and flawless architectural creation, it was built by an emperor in memory of his beloved queen. Continue on to Agra Fort, one of the finest Mughal forts in India. Built primarily of red sandstone, this 16th-century fortress served as the main residence of the emperors of the Mughal dynasty. Later this evening, Join a MAKE TRAVEL MATTER® Experience and visit the Sheroes Café. This local business supports female victims of acid attacks who have been empowered by this organisation.
Tonight, you may opt to dine at one of the many restaurants at your hotel, offering a range of options from local Indian flavours to international cuisines.

Day 8: 12 November 2026 - Onto Varanasi
This morning drive to Delhi to board your flight to Varanasi. In the evening, visit the sacred Ghats of the Ganges to witness the famous
Aarti ceremony. As priests chant mantras and light incense and lamps, devotees offer flowers, milk, and floating diyas to the river. The air fills with the sound of temple bells, creating a truly spiritual atmosphere.

Day 9: 13 November 2026 - The Holy City if Varanasi
Wake early for a breathtaking sunrise boat cruise on River Ganges. Witness the spectacular sunrise over the horizon. The sound of conches and temple bells add a pious tinge to the delicate pink fabric of dawn. We'll then explore the city on foot to experience the spirit of the world’s oldest living city. Then, take a temple walk to the iconic Kashi Vishwanath Temple and its newly built corridor. This main temple of Varanasi, dedicated
to Shiva, features a 15.5-metre-high gold spire and three pure gold domes. Rebuilt many times through history, it remains one of the most revered sites in India.
Return to your hotel for breakfast and relax for a bit. We then proceed to visit the weavers' village in Varanasi is a deep, authentic cultural experience that connects you to the centuries-old tradition of Banarasi silk weaving—one of India’s finest and most luxurious textile arts.
Tonight, you may choose to dine at your hotel, where you’ll find elegant bars and lounges, along with specialty restaurants serving everything from European favourites to regional Indian cuisine.

Day 10: 14 November 2026 - Yoga session & visit to Sarnath
Begin your day with a soul-nourishing yoga session, led by a skilled female instructor, in a tranquil riverside setting. With the sounds of distant temple bells and the rhythmic chant of morning mantras in the air, find your breath, centre your thoughts, and stretch into serenity. In India—the very birthplace of yoga—this is more than exercise. It’s a spiritual rite of passage, a connection to something timeless.
Later, travel to Sarnath, where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon in the tranquil Deer Park, marking the birth of Buddhist philosophy. Stroll through serene gardens and explore the ancient ruins from the 3rd century BC, including the Ashoka Pillar, Mulagandhakuti Vihara Temple, and the towering Dhamek Stupa. Before heading back, visit the Sarnath Archaeological Museum, home to exquisite early Buddhist art, including the iconic Lion Capital of Ashoka—a timeless symbol of India’s spiritual legacy.

Day 11: 15 November 2026 - Departure
After breakfast, it’s time to say farewell to India and the new friends you’ve made along the journey. You’ll be transferred as a group to Varanasi airport for your flight back to Delhi, carrying home special memories of culture, connection, and shared experiences.

^Exclusive RAC hosted group, flights included: This group tour is operated by Insight Vacations, and a dedicated female Tour Director manages the itinerary, inclusions, and day-to-day organisation. Transport is provided by a professional driver, who is responsible for operating the coach safely and according to regulations. There will also be a female RAC representative joining the tour to provide additional support and assistance to guests and the Insight Vacations Tour Director as required. The RAC host is not responsible for the management of the tour or transport but is available to support members and assist with general enquiries. A flight credit of up to $1200 per person is included when flights are booked through RAC Travel. If flights exceed the credit amount, the member will be responsible for paying the difference. If flights cost less than the credit, the unused portion will be deducted from the final price of the booking. The credit is non-transferable and only valid for flights booked directly with RAC Travel. All flights are subject to availability, airline conditions of carriage, and standard booking terms. Alternatively, you may choose to use the $1200 credit as a discount on the tour price instead of booking flights through RAC. This option is suitable if you prefer to make your own flight arrangements, such as using Frequent Flyer points, etc.

Some activities also involve sensitive topics, such as meeting women who are survivors of acid attacks, where a female-only environment is essential to ensure comfort, respect, and cultural sensitivity. This tour is designed to promote gender equality and address barriers women may face in travel. It’s part of a broader suite of travel options and is not based on exclusion but on creating space for meaningful, culturally sensitive experiences. For these reasons, this tour is bookable for women only (female gender as per your passport information).
