Operated by Insight Vacations and hosted by RAC, the tour is led by a dedicated Tour Director who manages every detail of your experience. Local guides bring the stories behind the machines to life, while your RAC host joins you throughout the journey, adding camaraderie and shared enthusiasm. It’s more than a holiday, it’s a celebration of motoring history across Europe’s most iconic cities.

Day 1: 12 September 2026 - Welcome to Paris
Welcome to the City of Lights! Meet your Travel Director and fellow car enthusiasts at the hotel for a quick de-brief, before enjoying a welcome dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 2: 13 September 2026 - Paris - Mulhouse - Colmar
This morning, we will journey from the big city of Paris to the small town of Mulhouse. On arrival, we’ll visit the National Automobile Museum, Schlumpf Collection with an in-house guide. This private collection of Bugatti Motorcars put together by the Schlumpf brothers who ran a hugely successful textile mill. Over the years, the brothers secretly purchased old cars and stored them in an unused part of the mill. Nowadays, the museum houses over 500 cars in three main sections. The Bugattis are still prominent to the collection and are housed in their own section.
Later, travel to Colmar and spend the evening at leisure.

Day 3: 14 September 2026 - Onto Stuttgart
This morning travel to Germany’s automative capital – Stuttgart. Visit the Porsche Museum, celebrating the brand's iconic models and racing heritage. Learn all about the history of Porsche and immerse yourself in the Porsche production lines.
Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant this evening.

Day 4: 15 September 2026 - Stuttgart Sightseeing
With an in-house guide, we’ll visit the Mercedes-Benz Museum this morning. Showcasing over 130 years of automotive history. The museum is divided into nine floors and houses over 160 vehicles divided into various themes dating back through the long history of the brand.
Spend the evening at leisure.

Day 5: 16 September 2026 - The Bavarian Capital of Munich
This morning, we will travel to Munich! During your orientation, you will see Victory Arch and the university, concluding in the Marienplatz with its soaring Gothic Town Hall and colourful Glockenspiel.
Later, you'll explore the BMW Welt, the museum showcases historic originals, old classics, and modern concepts, as well as a collection of motorcycles, and we’ll visit the BMW Museum next door, delving into the brand's innovations and design philosophy.
Tonight, we’ll enjoy a traditional Bavarian dining experience.

Day 6: 17 September 2026 - Munich to Milan via Vaduz
This morning, we’ll leave Bavaria and be travelling through delightful scenery as we make our way to the Arlberg Tunnel. We’ll stop in Vaduz, capital of the Principality of Liechtenstein and one of Europe’s smallest countries. Enjoy a walking tour with a local guide. You will have some free time for lunch.
Continue your journey to Milan, Italy's fashion and design capital.

Day 7: 18 September 2026 - Milan Sightseeing
This morning, join a local specialist to navigate through Milan's history. See the impressive façade of Milan Cathedral and the world famous La Scala Opera House.
Later, we’ll head to Arese to visit the Alfa Romeo Museum. Accompanied by an in-house English-speaking guide, you'll explore the museum’s impressive permanent collection of Alfa Romeo cars and engines.
Tonight, we’ll enjoy a traditional Italian feast at a local restaurant.

Day 8: 19 September 2026 - Milan to Bologna
Today we’ll travel to Bologna. En route we stop in Sant'Agata Bolognese to visit the Lamborghini Museum with an in-house guide. Later visit the Pagani museum to discover where Pagani Hypercars are born.
Enjoy an evening in Bologna, savouring its renowned cuisine at a local restaurant.

Day 9: 20 September 2026 - Ferrari Museum Maranello
Travel to Maranello, Italy, home of Ferrari. We’ll visit the Ferrari Museum. with an in-house guide. Learn about it's history and its plans for the future and see the Ferrari World Champion cars in the Hall of Victories. Continue to Milan and with your Travel Director, enjoy a farewell dinner this evening reflecting on the journey's highlights.

Day 10: 21 September 2026 - Milan Departure
After breakfast, bid farewell to your fellow travellers as your automotive adventure concludes.

^Exclusive RAC hosted group, flights included: This group tour is operated by Insight Vacations, and a dedicated Tour Director manages the itinerary, inclusions, and day-to-day organisation. Transport is provided by a professional driver, who is responsible for operating the coach safely and according to regulations. There will also be a RAC representative joining the tour to provide additional support and assistance to guests and the Insight Vacations Tour Director as required. The RAC host is not responsible for the management of the tour or transport but is available to support members and assist with general enquiries. A flight credit of up to $2500 per person is included when flights are booked through RAC Travel. If flights exceed the credit amount, the member will be responsible for paying the difference. If flights cost less than the credit, the unused portion will be deducted from the final price of the booking. The credit is non-transferable and only valid for flights booked directly with RAC Travel. All flights are subject to availability, airline conditions of carriage, and standard booking terms. Alternatively, you may choose to use the $2500 credit as a discount on the tour price instead of booking flights through RAC. This option is suitable if you prefer to make your own flight arrangements, such as using Frequent Flyer points, etc.
