Federal Priorities

RAC is calling for commitments to projects and initiatives critical for WA.

These will save lives, create thousands of jobs and deliver a safer, sustainable and connected Western Australia.

WA Regional Road Safety Program

The Federal Government must commit funding in partnership with the WA Government so that the $900 million Regional Road Safety Program is delivered in full. Learn more about the Regional Road Safety Program.

Low cost metropolitan intersection program

The Federal Government must commit funding towards a program of low cost, network-wide treatments to address common challenges at intersections across Perth.

Active transport infrastructure

The Federal Government must commit funding towards a program of safe and connected active transport infrastructure and enhanced streets and places for cycling and walking in WA.

Cleaner, healthier air

The Federal Government must prioritise policies and investment in initiatives which encourage further adoption of electric vehicles in Western Australia to support cleaner and healthier air.
