The 118th Annual General Meeting of The Royal Automobile Club of W.A. (Inc.) was held at RAC’s office at 832 Wellington Street, West Perth on Monday, 27 November 2023 at 7.00pm.
RAC President, Allan Blagaich, welcomed members to the meeting. The President presented his report on the past year’s activities and reported on RAC’s financials for the year ended 30 June 2023.
The President informed the meeting that Council had resolved to elected him as President and John Driscoll as Senior Vice President, effective from Tuesday 28 November 2023.
Tim Jones, from CorpVote, the Returning Officer for the 2023 Council Elections, declared the results of the elections. The four successful candidates elected to RAC Council are:
- Jacqueline Ronchi
- Sarah Kepert
- Kerry Harris
- James (Jim) Walker
The President thanked all candidates for nominating. He expressed his gratitude for the services of retiring Councillor, Prof. Ross Dowling AM, for his long service to Council including as Senior Vice President and member of several committees of Council.
The President also thanked Stephen Fox for his contribution to Council and the Member and Policy Committee.
Members were given the opportunity to ask questions at the meeting.
