How do I update my car policy details?
You can change the following details online:
- Registration
- Your car
- Car modification status
- What you use your car for
- How many km you travel annually
- If your car is financed
- Finance provider
Step 1: Log in to myRAC
Log in to myRAC. If you don’t already have a myRAC account, you’ll need to register first.
Step 2: Select ‘Manage your policy’
Find your policy. Select Manage. Then select Manage your policy.
Step 3: Get ready to update
Select Update my policy.
Step 4: Start date
Choose a start date for any changes and select Next to continue.
Step 5: Your car
Confirm this is the right make or model. Select Yes, it is. Then select Next to continue.
Step 6: Confirm your car details
Here, you can update your car details such as modifications and finance. Then select Next to continue.
Step 7: Car usage
Here, you can update your car usage information such as what you use your car for, the address where your car is kept and the kilometres driven. Then select Next to continue.
Step 8: Premium amount
If you vary your basic excess or the agreed value, this may change the amount of your premium. Then select Next to continue.
Step 9: Pay
If there’s a change to your premium, you’ll need to pay and then select Confirm.
