How do I renew my car insurance in myRAC?
You can renew your car policy by logging in to myRAC. Update your registration, car usage, number of kilometres driven, bank details and much more.
You can also renew without logging in.
Step 1: Log in to myRAC
Log in to myRAC. If you don’t already have a myRAC account, you’ll need to register first.
Step 2: Select ‘Manage my policy’
Find your policy. Select Manage. Then select Manage my policy.
Step 3: Go to ‘Renew my policy’
Choose the policy you wish to update then select Renew my policy.
Step 4: Your car
Confirm whether or not this is the right make or model. Then select Next to continue.
If you’ve updated your car, select No, it isn’t. Refer to our Guide on how to change your car make and model for more information.
Step 5: Confirm your car details
Here, you can update your car details. Then select Next to continue.

Step 6: Car usage
Here, you can update your car usage. Then select Next to continue.
Step 7: Renewal amount
Check out the difference between paying monthly or annually. Or change the excess and your agreed value to see how this affects the amount you pay. Then select Next to continue.
Step 8: Pay your renewal
The final step is for you to choose how to pay. You can then pay your renewal and Confirm.
