How do I renew my home insurance policy?

You can renew your home policy by logging in to myRAC. You can update your excess, sum insured and bank details.

You can also renew without logging in.

Step 1: Log in to myRAC

Log in to myRAC. If you don’t already have a myRAC account, you’ll need to register first.

Step 2: Select ‘Manage my policy’

Find your policy. Select Manage. Then select Manage my policy.

Step 3: Go to ‘Renew my policy’

Choose the policy you wish to update then select Renew my policy.

Step 4: Eligibility to continue online

There’s a quick home details check. If none of the conditions apply, select No, continue to policy. If any of the conditions apply, please call 13 17 03 to update your policy.

Step 5: Confirm your policy details

Check to see if any of the details listed need to be updated and then select Continue.

Step 6: Adjust or confirm your excess and sum insured

If you adjust the excess and sum insured, this will affect your premium. Fill in your email address, then select Confirm.

If you pay by direct debit, your policy will be renewed on the due date. If you pay annually, you’ll be taken to a secure Westpac screen so you can pay.
