Paid parental leave
To support you at this exciting time of your life, RAC is proud to offer employees generous and inclusive parental leave options. If you have completed at least 12 months of continuous service at RAC, and are the primary care giver, you are eligible for 16 weeks paid leave. As the non-primary care giver you are entitled to 4 weeks.
RAC recognises the value of flexible working arrangements enabling you to achieve a balance between work responsibilities and personal commitments. We are also embracing a hybrid work approach supporting a mix of on-site and remote working where applicable.

RAC employees can access up to two days of paid volunteering leave with an approved program partner each calendar year, or apply for a 6-week secondment with Jawun, an Aboriginal organisation in the Kimberley region.
Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
EAP is an independent, professional counselling service available to all employees and immediate family members at no cost to the person and is designed to provide short to medium term assistance to employees experiencing difficulties.
The RAC Social Club is one of the most active Social Clubs in Perth with over 900 members. Membership offers a huge range of tickets, gift cards, events and special rates for goods and services.
Purchasing additional leave
RAC employees are eligible to purchase up to two weeks additional leave per year to help you balance work responsibilities and personal commitments.
As an RAC staff member you are eligible for a variety of discounts including auto servicing, new batteries, travel packages and discounts on insurance premiums. You also get additional benefits through the Members Benefit program.
Salary packaging enables you to receive part of your salary as a non-cash benefit rather than cash in hand, therefore reducing your taxable income so you pay less tax.
New motor vehicles
As an employee you're eligible for heavily discounted national fleet prices for the outright purchase of any new private vehicle to be registered in an RAC employee's name, or leasing through salary packaging.
