The RAC Electric Highway® ran for 10 years, setting the stage for the growth of EVs in WA because we’re committed to improving how people move around the state.
Reconnect WA
We helped locals revitalise their streets and public spaces by partnering with local government. The initiative awarded over $2.7 million in funding.
Elephant in the Wheatbelt
Talking about the elephant in the room. This life-sized African elephant sculpture made out of crashed cars highlights the high road fatality rate in the Wheatbelt.
EV for a week
Gave 50 members the opportunity to trial an electric vehicle for a week. This was a chance to experience life with an EV and learn about zero emissions vehicles.
Slow Down, Move Over advocacy
This simple instruction helps keep people by the side of the road safe when drivers pass by. Helping protect RAC patrols, and fire and emergency services.
