RAC has been part of WA’s motoring history for 112 years and we’re pleased to support the Motor Museum of WA to bring that history to life in 2017. The Motor Museum of WA has recently launched a new building which is home to the RAC Learning Hub, a venue for school groups and car clubs to hold educational sessions and meetings. You will also see an exhibition dedicated to telling the story of RAC’s motoring history.To top it all off RAC members enjoy up to 20% off the price of admission!

The Western Australian Regional Achievement & Community Awards

The WA Regional Achievement & Community Awards are designed to encourage, acknowledge and reward the valuable contributions individuals, communities and businesses are making throughout regional and rural Western Australia. RAC are proud sponsors of the RAC Volunteering Award which recognises volunteers who have made an outstanding contribution and have positively impacted the lives of others and their community. WA Youth Awards

The WA Youth Awards were established to ensure that young Western Australians aged 13 to 25 receive recognition for their achievements and contributions to the community. RAC is a proud sponsor of the RAC Innovation for a Sustainable Future Award. This category recognises young people contributing to the Community through innovation and sustainability. Congratulations to the 2017 award winners Lily Purser and Alyssa Wong. The two year 10 students from Shenton Park College were recognised for their efforts in connecting businesses with local charities with the aim of  getting otherwise wasted food to people in need.

If you know a young person who has:

  • Innovated to achieve advancements in sustainability
  • Researched or created new technologies and systems that aim to make life easier and help create a sustainable future
  • Developed innovative projects to inform and/or encourage the community and/or industry to embrace a sustainable lifestyle
